About Evan Forbes:

Evan Forbes (Owner of Forbes Films) is considered the “Jack-of-all-Trades” when it comes to filmmaking. He has the skills to dive into any position and come out with the highest level of results. He has experience in a wide range of filmmaking departments such as producing, directing, cinematography, location management, art direction, sound design, practical effects, visual effects, editing and many more.

Evan Forbes started his journey as a filmmaker when he was approximately 14 years old. With no equipment of his own Evan quickly developed his most sought-after skill of resourcefulness. Finding everything he needed from the camera to shoot with to the computer to edit on. Having the goal to make one video a week became the key to becoming the strong filmmaker he is today.

Dipping his toes into multiple departments has given Evan the “eye for editing”. Knowing how to achieve the desired emotional response at any given moment. One of the most popular films Evan has edited is the short film documentary “A Racing Heart”.

Evan is also a very creative individual who came up with the story Henchman. Henchman is a satirical take on the superhero genre as well as a meta-narrative on the job industry. Henchman is also the pitch winner of the 2018 Forest City Pitch Festival.
